Dr. Shivani Patel is a pharmaceutical scientist and academician with 6.8 s years of cumulative experience encompassing academics (3.8 years), research (3 years), and pharmaceutical industry exposure. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Indrashil University, Kadi, Mehsana, Gujarat. She has completed her full-time Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2020–2023) from Parul University under the SHODH Fellowship (₹4 lakhs) awarded by the Government of Gujarat. Her doctoral research focused on nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems for neurological disorders, with special emphasis on transferosomal delivery of antiparkinsonian drugs. She has also completed industrial training at Centurion Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. She actively contributes to teaching, research mentoring, scientific writing, and interdisciplinary collaborations, and is proficient in handling advanced pharmaceutical formulation and characterization instruments.

Dr. Maulik P. Suthar is a pharmaceutical biotechnology professional with over 17 years of combined academic and industry experience. His career spans 13 years in academia as Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Biotechnology, and Pharmacy, and 4 years in the nutraceutical industry as Director of New Product Development and International Marketing. He currently serves as Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Indrashil University (2025–present).

RESEARCH

His research contributions include numerous national and international presentations, over 40 publications, and a patent on a novel class of CDK2 inhibitors. He has received multiple Best Poster awards and secured funded research grants from AICTE and GUJCOST.

Dr. Suthar is proficient in a wide range of experimental techniques including kinase assays, apoptosis and cytotoxicity screening, autophagy assays, cloning, protein expression, western blotting, and bioinformatics. He is also a life member of multiple scientific and pharmaceutical associations.
