Sacred Heart University was founded in 1963. SHU offers more than 80 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and certificate programs including online degree programs.
Indrashil University has collaborated with Sacred Heart University for (3+1 Year) Dual Degree BTech in Computer Science and Engineering Program. IU and SHU will each
award its respective degree to the students graduating from this dual degree program. The majority of this program shall be delivered at IU by 3+1 two campus model. Those who fulfill all entry requirements for undergraduate study at SHU, which is, at minimum, demonstration of an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher using the 4.0 grading scale (i.e. CGPA of 7.5 or higher using the 10.0 grading scale at IU), and competence in the English Language could proceed their study at SHU for the fourth year. They should successfully complete all requisite courses at IU and SHU respectively and they will be awarded the Bachelor's Degree Certificate from IU and SHU both.
It is primarily a process of creating usable computer programs and applications and the theories behind these processes. An employee in this industry will likely be doing a lot of independent work applying complex algorithms and writing code. Most computer scientists are employed as software developers or engineers in the industry.
