Science Camps
"Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)" is an innovative programme sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi for attraction of talent to Science. The basic objective of INSPIRE is to communicate to the youth of the country the excitement of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study of science at an early age and thus build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R & D base.
IU hosted a five-day science camp from January 4th -8th, 2020 complying with the objective of INSPIRE. It was sponsored by DST. It witnessed presence of eminent scientists, academicians and industry experts from Pan India. Around 162 meritorious students with science background of Gujarat with above 85% in X standard attended the camp and availed benefits reflecting very positive feedback.
