About The Library
Indrashil University (IU) Central Library was established in the Year 2017 The Library has developed and excellent collection of books, journals, magazine and News paper library is located in second floor, having total area of 617 sq. miter it has very wide range of collection of more than 14600 books the collection classified has been Dewey decimal classification (DDC) system and accordion arrange its subject wise it also provide an access to the 67 national/ international print journal and magazine.
The library has open access i.e. the students are allowed to enter the book stack and choose. The students can also avail the reading room facility, which has a seating capacity of around 120 students. Library uses SOUL (Library automation) software, along with barcode technology. Library has taken Membership of J-GATE, National Digital Library (NDL) and also is the Member of DELNET Database.

The Library aim to develops quality collections and teaches students effective use of information resources by facilitating access to information resources and promotes intellectual growth and creativity by offering critical evaluation skills and research assistance.

Within a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment, we enrich the student learning experience, facilitate research at all levels and engage the community through innovative educational services, resources and technologies.

The library is enriched with digital facilities and computer system. Free access of this is made available to the students, faculty, staff and visitors. The library frequently displays and exhibits various books, newly arrived books and best library books.

Registered member can issue book for home study except reference and journal during circulation hours.

Library Rules & Regulation
- Please maintain silence in the library.
- Every person who enters the library should sign the entry register.
- Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
- Students keep their bags, outside the library.
- Students will be allowed to use the library during Free Periods only
- Students are requested to keep the books/magazines or any other material used in their respective places after use.
- No library material will be taken out of the library without the permission of the Librarian.
- Reference Book, Journal and magazine only for reference not for issue outside the library.
- If a book is lost, the concerned person has to replace the lost book with a new book, as well as pay the fine.
- Student should handle the Book carefully.
- Drinks and eatable are not allowed in the library.
- All readers are require to maintain discipline in the library
